What is rPET?
rPET stands for recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic. After original PET containers are used by consumers, they are returned via a dedicated recycling program to a specialized facility. Here, we sort, clean, and transform the plastic back into high-quality rPET flakes or pellets, which are then reused to craft our signature bags.

Converting post-consumer PET into a valuable resource significantly helps the environment. rPET boasts a substantially lower carbon footprint compared to virgin PET, making it a cornerstone of responsible manufacturing.

PET is 100 percent recyclable and stands as the most recycled plastic worldwide. From our goal of achieving a closed-loop production model to the inclusive environment we foster at our HQ and stores, moving toward a sustainable future is our unwavering mission.

Note: According to the PET Resin Association (PETRA), over 1.5 billion pounds of used PET bottles and containers are recovered in the United States each year for recycling.
