Large Vintage Canvas Drawstring Backpack

This backpack has only 3 compartments.one Large spacious compartment, and two smaller identical pockets that are closed by a single "snap" button on each of them. This is made out of canvas which is not ideal for certain weather conditions. The backpack appears to be durable, but I question the strap strength if it's filled to be heavy. The straps are adjustable. The main compartment is closed by a single zipper at the top. It is not soft to the touch, in fact this is supposed to be considered a Vintage style Canvas backpack.4 stars as to the amount of you can hold in the main is impressive.Appearance is basic/lacking appears winkled throughout the backpack.Straps are not comfortable long term, but good enough for some basic short trips.Decent quality for a Canvas style backpack.

I will admit that I expected something a little heavier but I really like the lightweight design and looks of this backpack. I wouldn't carry my cameras or a laptop without other protection, but it's great for lightweight use. It has a nice flannel-type lining and is very well made. I've always preferred carrying a backpack instead of a fanny pack or some other type of "man-bag". This is a nice, clean looking bag that I would buy again.

Well.....I got this 'daypack' as I need a backpack for books when walking around that can also be discreet and folded up when not in use, it 'does' fit this purpose to some extent. I got the green one, and the biggest 'plus' factor for me is that it's cute, well, I'm being honest. Aside from good aesthetics, I was hoping I could fit some good sized library books in here, I know that with something of this size and no reinforcement of the bottom, I wasn't expecting it to hold 5 textbooks (were I to attend school again) but I do/did expect to be able to fit around 10 library books or so. I would say I can fit 3 one and a half inch wide hardbacked cookbooks from the library as the max before it's too heavy for me to 'lug' around, that's about it. Maybe 2 cookbooks and 5 light books or a whole lot of very light paperbacks. If you are getting this for the purpose of putting an Ipad, tablet, Kindle as well as notebooks, you would be happy bc even with the tech devices, you can fit 25 more notebooks, easily. Also, if you were stuffing clothes in it for hiking, let's say, you can put 5 tshirts, a pair of pants and still have room for a notebook or two. Also, I'm not convinced a laptop wouldn't be too heavy for this bag, it just depends on you. Ultimately, if you see rain in the forecast, there may be 'some' give for a rainy day but not entirely (like if it just starts to sprinkle and you run to shelter but not fit for a rainstorm by any means). Good thing it doesn't rain too much where I live and I just got this for the aspect of folding it nicely when not in use. Aside from the main bag compartment, there is a small zippered compartment inside (maybe some pens will fit, I'll use that 'as needed'). I'm not sure what the two thin, long compartments in the front are supposed to be for aside from the umbrella you may need and I find that putting inkpens works well with it. All and all, I'm happy with the purchase bc it's foldable, I like the material, it's cute, but I do wish I could put more hardback books in it but 3 without it being too heavy, I'll just have to limit myself at the library.

This mini backpack is my new go-to bag! It holds my 10.9" ipad air in the internal sleeve perfectly and surprisingly the inside storage is very spacious. I appreciate the outer magnetic snap pocket too for things like my phone and keys that I need quick access to. I never have to worry about them getting lost inside. It's really lightweight and the straps are comfortable too. I don't get that achy neck feeling like I do with other bags I own. Plus, I've gotten many compliments already on the nice brown color when I wear the backpack out. Definitely a great little, but mighty bag!

I chose this backpack because it was purple, my favorite color. I really like the shade of purple it is not dark but not lavender or lilac either. I love the shape of the bag for no other reason than it was just not normal, the shape is not functional at all it is just cute. The bag is large on the inside and is very roomy. There is plenty of space to carry a small laptop, tablet, umbrella, water bottle, wallet, phone, keys, Bluetooth and a number of other items. I would recommend having a case on any type of computer or tablet as the bag is not insulated so dropping it could result in the items inside getting jarred, broken or damaged.The backpack has two standard adjustable straps on the bag. It also has a loop at the top for hanging it. Again the inside is very spacious and open, there is one pocket on the inside that is a nice size.There are two pockets on the outside of the bag, one on each side. The pockets are a nice size and very convenient for smaller items you do not want to have to dig for inside the main compartment. All of the zippers seem strong and durable.The issues I have with the bag are 1. The side pockets while functional and a nice size do not fit my Samsung Note. I think with a little force it would fit but it is just not practical to have to do that every time. I also carry an iPhone 13 ProMax that fits nicely in the pocket with no issues. 2. I do not particularly care for the material the bag is made of. The material feels like denim, it is listed as canvas I was just expecting it to be softer and to be able to dress the bag up or down. This is definitely not a dress-up bag.Overall I give it a rating of 8.5 losing points because I can't fit my phone in the pocket and because I don't like the feel of the bag which in no way takes away the function of the bag it is just my personal preference.
